Art Jameel at Organisation of Islamic Cooperation heritage colloquium

Art Jameel participated in a colloquium on the preservation of cultural heritage in member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the second largest intergovernmental body in the world, after the United Nations.  The colloquium, held at the OIC’s headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was co-organised by the OIC and the French government.

Art Jameel facilitated the attendance of a number of participants, including from the Factum Foundation for Digital Technology in Conservation, and Alcove Advisers.  Art Jameel also moderated a panel discussion on collaboration between international institutions in heritage preservation, and presented on its experience of the traditional arts in heritage conservation, including in the old town of Jeddah.
