The Distance from Here

The Distance from Here publication accompanies the exhibition of the same name, which brought together works by Mona Ayyash, Yto Barrada, Hicham Benohoud, Jason Dodge, Shilpa Gupta, Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige, Sreshta Rit Premnath, Hrair Sarkissian, Do Ho Suh and Anup Mathew Thomas. Exploring personal encounters with space and time, the publication reflects on the body as a means of navigating the world through touch, language, movement and memory, while examining the transitional and often overlooked spaces that shape our experience of the everyday.
